laser engraver for glass

Glass engraving by laser is a high-quality and environmentally  friendly way of decorating glass. It uses  a special machine,  a piece of  equipment  called a  laser engraver, to burn  minuscule marks into the glass, the report said.  This is very precise and clean in a way few glass-shattering methods are. At Voiern, we took it seriously when making  laser engravers that are good  on  glass, can help these  business  make their product be beautiful and special. You can etch logos, names or patterns on drinking glasses, awards and trophies, windows or glass art.  Not only is  it pretty, but the imprint will also never wear off or fade so it lasts forever. "The exciting thing is just how easy it is to change the design at any time, so companies can keep their  glass items fresh and  new. The technology is potent  but also  safe for glass, which is why people often turn to  Voiern’s  laser engravers for their projects. What Types of Glass Can Be Perfectly Engraved with Laser Technology?

Glass exists in a wide range of types, and not all  glass engraves  the same when exposed to lasers. In Voiern we have discovered that there are certain glasses that work extremely well with our laser engraving machines. For instance, the clear glass that windows  and drinking glasses are made of typically  engraves beautifully. Really any  amount of power on your 3D printer’s laser is enough to make flat white marks that are easy to see. Frosted glass, commonly found in bathroom windows or decorations also takes the laser’s touch really well to  leave smooth and clean  designs. But also not just  clear or frosted glass — tempered glass (glass that has been made stronger by heating) can also be engraved, though it must be treated carefully because it cracks under too much heat. Colored glass is a  bit more difficult. For darker or much  thicker glass, you will have to use a higher power setting and slower engraving speed  for  good results without breakage. Then there’s crystal glass, thicker, more  delicate. Voiern’s machines can  process crystal, but always with  small adjustments to prevent cracking.  In our  experience, the best surface to  engrave on is smooth glass without  any  coatings or films because those layers can interfere with the laser. Occasionally, we’ll test a small piece before engraving a big job to make sure the settings are perfect. Naturally, different glasses diffract the laser light differently and  it is important  to be able to adjust the focus  and power of the laser. With that  careful procedure, Voiern’s laser engravers produce sharp, clear and long-lasting designs on virtually any type of glass you can imagine.
